First time here and loved it! My mother in law brought me for lunch. Told me about their famous dill pickle soup. Now I really like pickles, but soup???? Wow! Definitely a must try! It was a cream based soup with a sprinkle of old bay seasoning on top, vegetables and of course pickles! So good I could have eaten a second bowl. We both got the soup and sandwich combo, which is half of a sandwich and choice of soup. Their chicken salad is delicious too!! Our server was very kind, attentive and service/kitchen was fast. We got there right about noon and it was busy. It's a small place, but welcoming and I love the atmosphere! Such a cute place! We didn't get dessert, but looked like they had a great selection of ice cream too.Looking forward to visiting again!

Todo estaba delicioso y el lugar es lindo.(Original)Impromptu lunch and Googled places close to our location at the time. I ordered ham n cheese pretzel melt which came with chips, honey mustard and pickle. My hubby got roast beef quesadilla with horseradish sauce and chips n pickle accompanied his dish. I made the mistake of ordering ice cream which made me so full because I ate all the ice cream, which I think I read it is homemade. My husband got the birthday cake ice cream. Everything was delicious and place is cute.

Aside from being a few feet away from my apt, this place has amazing food, coffee and of course... ice cream. The staff is very friendly and you will feel at home if you sit down and dine in. Don't forget to save some room for dessert though 😁

Nice sandwich shop. We got a turkey sandwich and fried dill pickle soup. All their soups are homemade and the dill pickle was something I'd never seen before so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The Dill wasn't overpowering and the potato base was delicious. The turkey on the sandwich was roasted. Turkey was moist and I would definitely recommend it. Next time I'll have to leave a little room for some dessert and ice cream. Also, if you're really not sure about the soup, ask them for a sample. They gladly let us try it before buying it

A very quaint restaurant. All items prepared from fresh ingredients. The Dill Pickle Soup is a must try. It is very good. The sandwiches are very filling. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have room a very good selection of pies and ice cream. This is a local MUST stop in and have a meal.

Los sabores de helado eran bastante clásicos, con algunas adiciones notables, como teaberry y trufa de caramelo salado.(Original)It was my first time to the area, and my visit to Lickity Split was well worth it! The dill pickle soup is creamy, so savory, and chock FULL of potato and carrot pieces. It was served hot and topped with Old Bay. The flavor was outstanding and not overwhelmingly pickle. I decided to grab a brownie sundae as well, and I had the chocolate and vanilla ice cream subbed out for peanut butter for no extra charge. I came in a group and our server **Taylor** was so SO attentive and kind. We asked for substitutions and silly order corrections and separate checks, and she handled it all with no problem and a huge smile. Definitely would recommend. The menu options are very appealing, with a variety of sandwiches too. The ice cream flavors were pretty classic, with a few notable additions, like teaberry and salted caramel truffle.

I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of platters & sandwiches offered on their menu. My friend had the hot open faced roast beef with mashed & gravy (a staple) was really tasty. I had the Trimmers Tribute, tender & juicy turkey & crisp bacon, which was set off by the sliced apple on some really good bread. I'd like to say I'd get the same thing next time, but there's other items I really need to try. Oh yeah, the ice cream sundae was AWESOME as well

Parecían muchas buenas opciones en el menú.(Original)Stopped here for lunch and I’m so glad I did. They recommended the thanksgiving sandwich which was fantastic. Today was our first time visiting Luckity Split Restaurant, and we were so glad that we did. From the moment that we walked in, until we left, the staff was welcoming, kind, and made you feel like they appreciated your business! The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is charming and makes you want to sit back and relax. The kids menu was a hit! They offer many choices for kids from a hotdog, Mac and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, peanut butter and fluff to a build your own sandwich. I enjoyed the Turkey and Waffles!!! Oh wow was it good! Two waffles smothered in tender Turkey and savory gravy served with mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, cranberry sauce and apple sauce. The Dill Pickle Soup was also amazing! So good!! To end our meal we enjoyed the petite serving of ice cream. I recommend tasting the Teaberry ice cream……a very interesting and good flavor. Enjoy! We can not wait to come back to try more of their delicious menu!

Very impressed with the friendly service by our waitress, and she even let all of us taste a sample of the dill pickle soup! Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious. They have lots of fun ice cream sundae choices. Thank you for serving our food in beautiful dishes, and for the Bible verses on the bottom of the menus.

Lickity Split hosted my sister's bridal shower at Lickity Split Down Under. The staff was very easy to work with and the food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. They even provided background music. If you are looking for a venue in the New Holland area for 20-25 people....look into this venue. You won't be disappointed!

Was in the area and wanted to find a local lunch spot and came across this gem that I will absolutely be returning to! For starters, I loved how quaint the place is, as it just has that cozy small town restaurant feel… I had the grilled roast beef and cheese sandwich with sauerkraut and thousand island and that was delicious. I also LOVED the pickle soup! Didn’t have room for ice cream my first round, but I will make sure I do for my second! Lovely place!

We were quickly seated and our order for drinks taken. Our appetizers came out quickly, and I highly recommend the PA Dutch platter! Each of us then got our own ice cream flight, and none of us were unhappy with our choices. We want to return and we have more room in our bellies for something other than snacks and ice cream, as the menu looked delicious.Parking is convenient behind the building with an entrance there as well as on the street.

I've driven by this place many times, never knew it was there as I live an hour away. Tucked into a historic building on a busy county road. Creative sandwiches, appetizers and desserts. Ice cream! Had a lovely lunch there last weekend while shopping for plants. Food was super fresh, delicious and right amount. Service was exceptional. Definitely going back next time we're in the area.

My wife and I went there today with my son I don't eat out very often, all of the people treated us like they have known as for years the food was hot and delicious nothing to complain about there portion sizes excellent food has very good taste atmosphere of the restaurant is absolutely delightful it's like stepping back in time if the portions of the lunch wasn't so big and filling we would have had ice cream as well. I guess the ice cream will have to wait till the next trip definitely a top-notch five star establishment fine dining at its best.

I’m not sure how you mess up a grilled cheese. It looked like it had been toasted maybe 45 seconds on each side. Outside was dry and cheese was hardly melted. Disappointed with my son’s first experience here. They accidentally spilled soup on half which made it soggy so they did remake. But the remade sandwhich looked just as unappetizing. The icecream here is good but after todays experience we won’t be returning.

My mom and I came upon this neat little restaurant, and I can't say enough how great it is. If I could give it 10 stars in each category, I would. I look forward to going back again and again to try different things. And the ice cream was amazing also. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful and outgoing so she made our 1st visit very comfortable.

A small cafe restaurant with entrance from the back to minimize the traffic noise from the main street. It has the small town atmosphere and serves some great burgers and ice cream. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. We tried the pickle cream soup and it sure has some kick to it. Prices was reasonable and service was quick.

Todo el mundo debería venir y probar estos bocadillos en algún momento que están para morirse.(Original)Lickety Split Restaurant in new Holland has some of the best sandwiches, especially the garden spot melt and the pretzel melon.
